Very good food, half rack of smoked ribs didn't need any bbq sauce, but i loved the sweet option, i mixed 1/2 and 1/2 of spicy and sweet. The rolls were soft, the potatoe salad was creamy but not mushy, sweet tea was perfect, and the service was attentive without being annoying. Great menu with very reasonable prices. We will be back with company.

There barbecue Sauce is good you can choose hot mild or spicy and my favorite dish is tamalie with pork and cheese hot and spicy. So good Sweet and friendly services. :-)

The meat was tender with smoked flavor. It tasted really good and the bbq sauce made it taste even better. My mom and me stopped by on our way home to try it out after my mom's cousin who lived in the area recommended it.I ordered the The Lumber Jack Sampler (all meat) and my mom ordered the Wood Shed Tater.I was a little dissapointed that there was no vegetables that came with the lumber jack sampler, you had to order that seperate if you wanted veggies.I only give 3 stars due to we ordered extra Lumber Jack Sampler to go to take home to my brother. 3 times I asked if the sauce was in it. Was told yes it was. When we got home it was not there. This was an all meat plate and no sauce. I was lied to 3 times and that is unacceptable.If they had put the sauce in the plate to go like they said they did, then they would have received higher rating from me, but since they didn't and lied about it, then they don't get higher rating.

I've heard so many positive things about this place, but... My food was very bland and not much pulled pork. I had the nachos. I estimated about 1/4 cup of meat on it! The Styrofoam container was full of chips! Not impressed, at all. The place is cozy and quaint and the service was outstanding.

Fast service, wonderful staff and good food. I always order the Pine Knot. The bread pudding is great too

I lived in Texas for a year so I will never be the same when it comes to BBQ brisket and pulled pork. That is the benchmark I use. I just got some pork, brisket and ribs (to go} and I will say the ribs were very good, meaty, juicy and a fair amount of smoke. The brisket was chopped, a little dry and had a reheated flavor. It had a mild smoke and seasoning flavor and definitely needs sauce to make it work. The pork was the same flavor profile, including the reheated flavor, and was barely warm but that was ok since I was saving it for later. My ranking would be ribs 8/10, brisket 4/10, pork 5/10 and service 10/10. I will go back only for the ribs.
